Structural conditions are conditions that affect the structures that form and move the body. These structures are primarily made up of muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, and nerves. These structures can be damaged or agitated in many different ways ranging from traumatic injury, simple overuse, or improper movement caused by other structures not functioning properly. It is important to understand that some of these conditions may cause pain that appears to be solely structural but can also be caused (or made worse by) internal disorders as well.
