Dr. Philip A. Arnone, BS, DC, DABCI
In his 27 years of chiropractic practice, Dr. Arnone has treated over 12,000 patients. After graduating from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the oldest and most respected chiropractic university in the country, Palmer University.
After another 4 years of study, Dr. Arnone received his Diplomate Degree from the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI) through Parker University. He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Internist.
Dr. Arnone has owned and directed The Balanced Body Center in Matthews, NC since 1994 and enjoys one of the finest reputations in the Charlotte area. As one of the largest and most respected clinics in the Charlotte area, many medical professionals - orthopedists, dentists and podiatrists - refer their most difficult cases to the clinic.
While there are many effective chiropractic techniques, Dr. Arnone believes he has adopted the best and safest of those systems for his patients. The Balanced Body Center is one of only 300 clinics in the country where the doctors are trained in the NUCCA upper cervical technique. In addition to the upper cervical care, Dr. Arnone has incorporated gentle full spine and extremity adjustments for improving symptoms quickly and correcting structural problems.
Recognizing that each patient’s condition is unique, the clinic has physical therapists, exercise therapists, nurses and massage therapists on staff to fully meet the needs of our patients.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic and Board Certified Chiropractic Internist, Dr. Arnone has created a health center dedicated to helping our patients discover natural solutions to many diverse health conditions. The Balanced Body Center is a full diagnostic and treatment facility including:
• Digital-laser aligned x- rays
• State of the art Chiropractic techniques
• Decompression therapy
• Physical therapy
• Massage therapy
• Low level laser therapy
• Bone density testing
• Vascular ultrasounds
• Surface EMG testing
• Computerized lung functions
• Blood Chemistry studies
• Delayed Food Sensitivity tests
• Amino Acid testing
• Gastrointestinal Function testing
• Neurotransmitter testing
• Male hormone testing
• Female hormone testing.
While the clinic serves as a health resource for the local area, many patients drive several hours for the unique type of upper cervical care offered here as well as the nutrition and diagnostic programs.
Recently, Dr. Arnone has introduced a technology from Germany to the United States - the ExMi Pelvic Floor Therapy Chair. The Chair delivers a non-surgical, non-invasive technology for strengthening pelvic floor muscles. He is a co-founder of Pelvic Floor Centers of America, and he is committed to introducing this therapy to the rest of the country.
While most of his time is spent caring for patients, Dr. Arnone frequently gives lectures educating both organizations and physicians on the mechanisms and treatments available to live a healthy life. He brings together medical physicians, chiropractic physicians, naturopathic physicians and other health care professionals in an annual symposium to continue the advancement of natural medicine.
