A Different Kind of Chiropractic Care
We don’t pull, yank, or twist.
Our approach is gentle, precise, and guided by objective findings.
One of Only 300 NUCCA Clinics in the Country
NUCCA is one of the most precise upper cervical techniques available. Our doctors are trained in an x-ray guided approach that corrects spinal alignment without aggressive force.
Functional Care, Not Symptom Management
We don’t chase what hurts — we investigate why it’s happening. Every care plan begins with a thorough health history and exam, guided by diagnostic findings, not guesswork.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about our approach, what to expect, or whether we’re the right fit? Here are the ones we hear most often.
What is NUCCA chiropractic, and is it safe?
NUCCA is a gentle, precise upper cervical technique that corrects spinal alignment through a controlled contact on the Atlas (C-1 vertebra). There is no twisting, snapping, or cracking. The adjustment is light-force and guided by X-ray measurements — making it one of the safest and most specific chiropractic approaches available.
Do you accept insurance?
The Balanced Body Center is out of network with most insurance plans, which allows our doctors to recommend what is actually best for each patient — not what an insurance plan permits. Medicare is accepted. HSA and FSA payments are welcome. We can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement submissions. Our fees are often comparable to or less than standard chiropractic co-pays.
What happens at the first visit?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive health history review and full examination. The doctor will not recommend any treatment until after a thorough review of your findings. A Report of Findings appointment follows, where your doctor presents a personalized care plan built around your specific situation — not a generic protocol.
Is chiropractic care only for back and neck pain?
Not at The Balanced Body Center. While spinal care is central to what we do, we also offer functional medicine for gut health, hormonal imbalance, and systemic concerns — as well as pelvic wave therapy and massage. Many patients come to us when conventional care hasn’t resolved a persistent issue. We look at the whole person, not just the chief complaint.
Do I have to commit to a long-term care plan?
Every care plan is tailored to your findings and your goals. We believe in correction, not indefinite management — our objective is to get you to a point where you need us less. The doctors will not recommend more care than your case requires. We do advise patients not to delay, as most conditions improve more predictably when addressed early.
